G Code Consultancy ("G Code", "we", "us", or "our") is a technology consultancy company incorporated and operating in the United Arab Emirates, providing AI, Robotics, IoT, and software development services to enterprise clients across the UAE and GCC region.

For the purposes of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data ("UAE PDPL"), G Code is the Data Controller responsible for personal data processed through this website (gcodes.co).

In accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, we process your personal data on the following legal grounds:

• Legitimate interests (Article 8): We process technical data through Google Analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving our website, where such interest is not overridden by your privacy rights.

International Data Transfers

Our website server is hosted in the European Union (Germany). Some third-party services listed in Section 5 (Google) are based in the United States.

In accordance with Article 22 of the UAE PDPL, when personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we ensure that adequate safeguards are in place, including:

• Reliance on service providers who are subject to equivalent data protection standards (e.g., EU-US Data Privacy Framework for Google services).
• Standard contractual terms where required.
• Transfers only to countries or organisations that provide an adequate level of protection as recognised under UAE law or by the UAE Data Office.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable UAE law:

• Contact form submissions: Retained in our email system for up to 3 years from the date of receipt, after which they are permanently deleted. If a business relationship is formed, records may be retained for up to 5 years in accordance with UAE commercial record-keeping requirements.
• Analytics data: Retained by Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months as configured in our property settings.
• Server logs: Automatically deleted after 30 days.

You may request earlier deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 8).

Your Rights Under UAE PDPL

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of Access (Article 15): Request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and obtain a copy.
• Right to Rectification (Article 16): Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Right to Erasure (Article 17): Request deletion of your personal data where the processing is no longer necessary, or where you withdraw consent.
• Right to Restrict Processing (Article 18): Request that we limit how we use your personal data in certain circumstances.
• Right to Data Portability (Article 19): Receive a copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to Object (Article 20): Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

Children's Privacy

This website is directed at business professionals and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through this website, please contact us immediately at privacy@gcodes.co and we will delete it promptly.
